At no stage in my school days was I ever the popular uber sociable gal. In my defence however, I have always been a rather remarkable "people spotter" a visceral quality which has come in rather handy in my present stylistic pursuits and fashion journeys. So that's exactly what I did tonight. I found more than enough time to merely see people but not actually get my hands on any of the Marni for H&M collection pieces. A glamorous press event teeming with many experienced bloggers, congenial hosts (Anna and Mariza) even more "experienced" celebs, but so few Marni items to quench my Marni hunger. However, being socially awkward and all, my special angel friend jumped out of her LEMONcake Wardrobe and saved me from self marginalization. She alone, my lovely Christina, took me under her radiant wing of kindness and in her magic wand she managed to extract myself from the corner I was hiding to engage in my long favorite position of appearing contemplative and abstract. Thus, we laughed, took pictures in rainy pavements, walked in high heels, and made a mutual promise of spending sweet time over our own "cloudline" baked cupcakes and light "lemoncake" frosting. :)
