I have to admit: Mary Katrantzou's covetable exquisite designs make me proud to be Greek. Her devastatingly intricate imagination projected on astonishing prints with fragments of art patterns offers a briliant panache to anyone fed up with the "new minimalism". As you know I'm not one of them but I simply adore how there's nothing sober about the pieces of the proclaimed "daughter of digital revolution". Able to conjure up artsy patterns of Faberfe eggs or 3-D flowers and turning them into geometric dresses, skirts and pants, luckily for us, she decided to team up with Topshop. Creating a capsule collection for Spring enthusiasts she remains constant to her vision of "lampshade" skirts, peplum dresses wreathed with flowers buds inspired by antique cloisonné, corals and watercolor collages. She has also built on wonderfully constructed pants that can serve up as a maximalist ode to emprime! Well, if you have to ask I'd take the water color peacock-printed shift dress confessing to a weakness for pieces with vintage provenance. Which one would you invest on?

Beautifully put my dear Eleni. You seem to have clear understanding of her designs! She is such a refreshing talent who has really come into her own. I could certainly see you in that shift dress and would love and look forward to seeing how you would style it! :) If i was to choose a piece it would either be that printed tee,top Right or that statement dress, bottom left! :)
Take care,Daniella xox
