From the catwalk to the sidewalk, the luxe touch of black is transforming everyday chic into memorably standout style. The latin phrase loan on Juvenal's satires: rara avis in terris nigroque simillima cygno ("a rare bird in the lands, and very like a black swan") is what inspired me today in wearing the ultimate sweater in my wardrobe a vintage black Armani and punctuate the entire look with my Topshop bold statement shoes which elevate any minimal outfit. I just love the transformation of sophistication and minimalism to refined "edginess" without the element of forced eccentricity and that path was in my realm today.
