Chloé Spring Summer 2012 Review

I have expressed my love and genuine admiration for Celine and in my mind Chloé is equally important and inspiring. Thus, I'm more than fascinated to have watched Spring Summer 2012 collection. Clare Waight Keller, Chloé's new creative director, remained constant to the dreamy nature of the house eschewing all pressure and created a line which is precise, discreet with a timeless sense of luxury. The rigour of the designs is exceptional -especially to my eyes- whereas there are no overdesigned elements. The minimal aesthetic is everpresent with a romantic flair indicative of the tradition of the house. At the same time most of the designs and the witty tailoring evoked a cool detachment combined with a girlish charm . All that to me has an instant impact and alludes to my imaginative journeys to the Parisian Chloé boutique!!
